Prop. 8

It looks like Prop. 8, the ban on gay marriage will probably pass here in liberal California. It doesn't make much sense, opponents of gay marriage keep saying it's about the children, but being denied marriage doesn't stop people from creating families. It just denies the children basic rights and benefits. To me, that would seem to run counter to what Jesus would want.
